A year ago roughly, I bought (2)IPC-HFW2831T-ZS and (1)IPC-HDW4831EM-ASE from EmpireTech here on the forums, and want to ensure I keep them well maintained. As part of this I started looking for firmware updates - assuming there would be one to replace the EoL Flash Player requirement - and was very surprised to find that it's not even listed on any firmware page I could find, and indeed their website states that it's EoL.
Is it fairly normal for 'new' cameras to go EoL that quickly? For firmware to not be updated?
Considering I spent nearly 550 USD on these, I'd figured better overall lifecycle than a year or three.
