I had no problems here moving to BI 6, I didn't have to enter my BI license details or Import any configs. I did close down my BI 5 before installing BI 6. When all seems well enough I uninstalled BI 5.

UI3. I powered up my RPi 3+ which runs 32bit Rasbian Debian Bullseye and eventually it automatically logged in to UI3. At first I got a blank white screen but a power off reboot and it was working again.
This RPi allows me to view my CCTV cameras from the TV in the sitting room. I don't use it much because I view screens in another room. UI3 Settings show UI3 ver 314 and my Blue Iris 6.0.1.116, wifi is disabled and just on my local LAN network. When I've worked through my AI customization I'll have time to update Bullseye.

I also have UI3 on my Android phone which I use when we are away on holiday, it has access to my home BI through another RPi running WireGuard.

My many thanks go to Ken and Mike, and for all the help from folks on Ipcamtalk.

Since my install of BI 6 I have been reasonably satisfied except from using AI with the YOLOv8 ONNX models. The available documentation I find to be inadequate to allow me to fine tune this AI feature. I suppose I had a bad night 2 nights ago when overnight fog and rain caused over 800 BI 6 Alerts. Next morning I decided to revert back to CPAI that I was familiar with. From memory with BI 5 I was using the YOLOv5.6.2 module, with BI 6 I now have YOLOv8 module. We'll see how it goes, so far so good. I'd rather wait a few months for all of you Beta testers out there of ONNX AI to report your positive endorsements before I go back to ONNX.

BI hardware: HP EliteDesk 800 G3 SFF desktop, Intel CPU i7-7700 ( not an acceptable CPU for an upgrade to W11, but apparently the same CPU fitted to a Msoft product was. Little wonder I remain a Linux fan.)

Just an FYI...

I'm typing now on a Dell Inspiron 3668 running Windows 11 Home version 25H2 on a Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7400 CPU @ 3.00GHz ( it predates the 8th generation minimum as recommended by MS) that I installed Oct. 2025 using Rufus.

Runs great, no issues.

With BI (Ken) currently releasing near daily BI 6 updates and me learning more about fine tuning AI, I have decided to revert back to using the onboard AI in BI 6.
I'll see how this goes come rain and shine. I am running 6.0.1.22. It is dark and there is some rain CPU between 8 to10%
