Welp, there goes a few thousand electrical grid draining devices up in smoke. Guess I need to keep my petrol burning car at least, another 3 decades.

 
And all that toxic, acrid smoke from the EV batteries just reversed a decade of the so-called "positive benefits" of enforcing the expensive and senseless environmentally-friendly measures and regulations. :idk:

How many boatloads of Gas and Diesel Cars and trucks were ever shipped from other countries? How many of them ever burst into flames? We already know the batteries in EV cars are kind of,Oh, lets call it a "Sore Spot", and the Industry is well aware of this.
Doing a quick google search on recalls turns up a crapload of battery related recalls. I would hate to be the Insurance company covering that boat and yes you will pay for it when they raise rates. Everything is fine and green in the minds of the people pushing a technology that is still evolving and this is making the case that Its not ready for prime-time so to speak.
