I've been doing some diagnostics on my network. While plugging in a cable tester on one end and my dahua poe camera at the other end, I noticed on one of the cables light #4 doesn't work and on another cable, light #8 doesnt work.

Is this important at all? The cameras seem to work fine.

I reterminated the cables at the switch end, but that didn't change anything. I'm a little hesitant to reterminate at the camera end because there isn't much cable left.

I'm no expert, but as a one time installer using 568B ( mostly) we only tested our cable runs, not with the devices attached. You could not submit a cable test report end to end, with a device attached.
There is no need to test this way. Not all the pins in the camera plug end have wires connected to them. So you'll get the result your getting.

Thanks. I have 10 cameras installed. For 8 of them, with a camera on one side and a tester on the other, I get all eight lights active. The other two: one is missing light 4 and another light 8

All the cameras are the same

As said by @Flintstone61, test the run and the patch cable, not the device

If you plug the device in and it works, stop worrying about it. Next you'll be setting up a laser level to see how off your foundation is (Tip, don't do this!!!)
