Edge Vector not working with zone crossing

Hello,

Here my configuration
2 Zones A / B
Zone C used to complete overlap between A/B
Object detection configured as followed :

• object cross : 30 pix
• object cross : A-B;B-A
• object reset : 300%

Detection contrast set to mini, object size = 180

When Gaussian algorithm is activated, motion is triggered
When Edge vector is activated, no motion detection

If I set object cross to zone A only + Edge Vector => Works fine
If I set object cross A-B + edge Vector => KO
If i set object cross A-B + gaussian => Works fine

please help..
I'm using latests version of BI....same issue for all other versions

I really tried for a good while to get Edge Vector working for me but I went back to "Simple". I'm also using A-B and G completely filled.

From the description of Edge Vector it seems it was developed for large single zones. It doesn't seem to be suited for multi-zones. So, your findings are correct.

I've been working with Edge Vector on single zones and it's performing better than I expected.
