DS-2SE4C425MWG-E TandemVu PTZ Smart Tracking Help

I recently got this DS-2SE4C425MWG-E TandemVu PTZ but having lots of trouble.

1. The VCA features on the PTZ itself do not do anything, I have enabled intrusion, line crossing etc. for different presets but the PTZ does nothing based on these. It only works based on the Panorama linkage. There are blind spots the panoramic camera does not get so I'd like for the PTZ to track human/ vehicle motion based on the PTZ VCA features and presets. ie if a line crossing is set for a preset and the PTZ sees a human, it will track the human.
2. Can a secondary camera using VCA and a linkage trigger human/ vehicle tracking on the PTZ? I have not been able to figure this out, I can only do a patrol/ preset
3. How to set human/ vehicle notifications only for a specific zone/ area at a certain time?

Jonathan did you sort this ? be interesting to hear. Ive been eyeing one of these up on ALiexpress, but at present ive just ordered the 2 180 cameras for now.

QQ Does this model have ANPR or just some of that range, If im going to pull the trigger on one of these i may as well get ANPR also

DS-2SE4C425MWG-E does not have autotracking, its standard ptz with panoramic channel, doesnt have ANPR also.
Tandemvu with autotracking: DS-2SE7 or DS-2SF8 series.

Hi Jonathan
1. The VCA feature does work for both the PTZ and Panoramic camera, however, you cannot have SMART EVENT and FACE CAPTURE on at the same time for the PTZ. Its either one or the other. Try logging in direct to the camera for extra settings etc.
You construct zones within your PANORAMIC camera, such as, region entry/exit, line crossing, intrusion, motion detection ( not recommended due to false alerts). Example, if you construct an intrusion zone being your driveway and link it to your ptz, it will move to that location and track whatever is moving in that zone. Its not auto tracking but very similar.
2. Yes is the answer to your question. I have several other cameras with a smart event highlighted. I link this to the PTZ and it moves to this location and again, tracks whats moving until it moves out of view. You can also have one of your other cameras initiate and audible alarm too, just link that one too.
3. Through your direct access to the camera, click on VCA, then turn on Smart Event, now click in the Smart Event box and this will take you to an image on-screen of the ptz. Now you should have access to create rules and an arming schedule. EXAMPLE You can create a rule to monitor your driveway for cars and or people between a certain time on a given day and even create a holiday mode for when you are away. These rules can have a linkage to other cameras as previously mentioned to alarm, flash light, notify surveillance centre, or if you have used any of the input wires from the camera itself, activate security lights etc.
