Hi I have a nikvision camera. I have a leak in my roof. Plumber believes he has fixed it, Ive now put a camera inside the roof (yes it's very dark) and monitor it everytime it rains.
It's a difficult spot to continually get into the roof.
Because the timber trusses are old and have had some water on them over time they have stained water marks.
I'm wondering if there a setting I can use that shows heat/temperature.
For example, cold water flows in (rain water), it shows as blue?
I have the ivms4500hd software, but happy to use something else in terms of software.
Anyone else got some ideas?
Kind of like the scenario when you get your heart tested, breathe it it's blue , breathe out its red.
The cameras are 4mp 1080p off memory (dome) and have IR.
Thanks

You're thinking of a thermal camera. Normal cameras like yours can't see temperature and no software can change that.

FLIR makes a camera attachment for phones (available on Amazon) that can do true thermal imaging. You'll have to climb up there to use it though.
