I have a Dericam S2-32G IP camera that works fine all day, but at night goes offline. Does anyone have an idea as to why it does this? I’m assuming there’s a setting I have wrong. It stays offline all night and comes on again in the daylight. Any insight is appreciated. BTW I am not tech savvy, so small words please.

How is it being powered?
At night, the IR LEDs will double the power consumption, so if you are using for example a 12v supply via a long cable, or via a passive PoE splitter, that could cause enough of a voltage drop that the camera stops working.
Until the IR LEDs turn off again when it's light.
Thank you for your answer. That is how it’s powered. I’ll take it down and use a shorter cable to see if that fixes the problem.
