Delay JPEG Snapshot Time?

Hello

I have enabled JPEG snapshot option under the record tab to try to get pictures of cars for my LPR. Only problem is it seems to always take the snapshots when the car is only half in the frame as opposed to the middle to get a snapshot of the entire care. Is there a way to delay the snapshot 1 second or so, so that my snapshot ends up with the car fully in the snapshot?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks .
 
Try playing with the (Make time) under the Trigger---configure settings. Im in the process of dialing in a camera on a doorway to catch people as they come in. Its tricky to get it right. Im new here to but I believe this is the right place to start at least
