Dahua have now officially announced these. Has anybody yet got their hands on one to play with yet?

The natural search feature looks pretty cool in the demo videos and with competitors now offering these solutions it'll be really interesting to see how it compares.
 
WizSeek and the Xinghan models are very good. A great leap forward in finding events becoming a simple search, like on Google or to ChatGPT.

I don't know myself when the NVRs with Xinghan AI models are being released to distributors.
Similarly; the IVD box (pictured below) is in the process of being delivered to distributors.

I played with text defined alarms such as "person sitting in a chair", then sat in my office chair and the connected TiOC camera triggered.

there is 5.0 Web GUI - which is now available also for classic 5xxx-EI (almost all NVR sold by Andy in last 2-3 years) and new 5xxx-EI2 as firmware update...

Lads, Dahua releasing an entirely new GUI for NVR's. Doesnt look bad, hopefully its better than the recent "AIoT" menu they brought out on EI models.

Thanks! This is helpful. I'm trying to decide if I spring for the new Pro or not. I have the NVR8CH-8P-2AI and I noticed Edge recently no longer works now. I'd like to get on a platform that Dahua is investing in. Plus, the LLM-style search looks cool to me.

Would you recommend the upgrade?
 
I had an issue with the Edge browser not working in IE mode, after a lovely windows update. Resolved by adding my NVR IP LAN address to trusted sites and enabling IE mode for the trusted site. Google will hopefully assist further.

Edge problems is on all Dahua web interfaces - due some windows update.. Search forum history for that...

I don't recommend updating older 5xxx-EI to new NVR firmware. There are many small bugs or missing features in different places.

Dahua didn't have good 2025 for new products. Firmware fiasco after firmware fiasco for each new product.

Anyone knowwhy the 32ch is less expensive than the 16ch? Does the 16 have more features? I did a compare but didn't see any.

Update: I learned that the 16CH has PoE and the 32CH does not.
