Dahua WizColor 5x59-PRO and SmartLight 5x59-IL new series

Also have potentially on Jan.1st ^^ Will push them to do fast.

They need pushing hard, this is quite a serious situation, hopefully they realise. To release a new camera which performs significantly worse then older models is not a good look for any brand.

My real concern is that if they released them in this state, does not inspire confidence at all, neither does it give me that much hope for a resolution. Hopefully they prove us all wrong.

I still have IVS problems. I disabled the tripwire on the road since the neigbours (parked) van triggered IVS all night long.
However; last night tripwire (drawn on our own driveway close to the van) triggered on the van, parked just outside the tripwire lines. :banghead:

Also, it triggered on the basketball hoop. None of this happend with any other of my camera's. The only change it the new 54PRO camera and camera in color mode during the night.

I'm probably going to adjust the settings to put it to IR mode during the night if that helps. IVS triggering on random things the entire night makes this camera useless to be honest.

FYI: I'm on System Version 3.146.0000000.1.R / Build Date:2025-07-31 that came with the camera.

1. old firmware... upgrade firmware to last one.. there were some bigger IVS updates...

2. try check with / without Large Scale AI (in IVS->global settings).

Thats the original FW. I had a lot of false alerts with it also.

Try the 10/28 FW seems to be most stable currently as far as IVS

Awaiting feedback, fingers crossed. Having woken up, I assume the Dahua version listed above is nothing special since other tested it on release? this is over 2 weeks old now. Unless time has passed quickly as usual and I totally missed this release :) !

It's a major firmware update to address the missing basic features. They have added the ability to play Christmas music, from the onboard speaker. Just in time for the Christmas season.

That is a relief, I was thinking this was just a minor update, will save me downloading a wav file for the festive season :thumb::rofl:

I guess at least the current firmware already has the ghost of Christmas past nailed :wow:

Hey guys

We have big progress on the firmware of the IPC-T54PRO-AS IPC-T54PRO-ZE. New fw's working is bit positive. @bigredfish @duplo @jmcu these 3 guys cost too much time for the testing, we appreciate!
Sure other guys who talk a lot here too to help on it, thanks a lot to them too!

The firmware Need more testing then we will invite more guys to test. I think @bigredfish will get us some of his testings soon. This version is the 1st version, the official one i think still have to wait to Jan.

Thanks!

Andy

I would also like to test the firmware on a camera if possible.

So turning off AI-ISP does seem to allow normal control over most settings again!

My first try at night color settings.
*Please note this is the Z4 model and its 56ft to the capture point. Recall also I have a streetlight that runs on candles. Its not the ideal lighting condition.

Tonight I'll dial it in better and try B&W/IR as for most folks without a shit ton of light, you're still going to be more likely to run B&W/IR

If you recall the last set of tests with AI-ISP locked, people were fuzzy, see through and smeared, and it HATED black vehicles.

Progress
