Hey Guys

Just have time to do a little report mainly about IPC, PTZ and Network cams, dahua is growing fast, they have more than 3000 engineers and designers, and have full systems for good quality products.
It's a fantastic trip, met some good guys and good food and visiting many good places.

@EMPIRETECANDY, any word on higher MP international Starlight models (that are IP, not CVI)?

CVI one they do some newer one, but seems no new starlight cams released. But just normal cam. I think more new ones will comes out in Q3.
Their XVR 4.0 has a big change for the GUI and can support 10 languages. I am thinking they will use all multi-language for the NVR in the future.

Those are the ones I am interested in. Excellent night vision with a higher MP.
right now the high resolution cams still can't male starlight, seems 2mp still the best, because these CMOS chips all by SONY, so have to see SONY's progress for the high resolution ones with starlight.

Andy, Are they doing anything on facial recognition? I am mainly interested in white list facial database to trigger on all but the items in the database.

They added a new face recognition camera to their website a while ago, but they've been removed. I imagine they'll be very expensive and will show back up eventually. These links don't currently work. Accuracy unknown.

Andy, have you seen this one? Looks like a 4K Starlight... just CVI.

No need to check the price of the CVI one, but if you hear anything about an IP one, please let us know! :)
