I'm meaning the ability to see an image of a person, click on it, and then instantly see a snapshot of every other time that person has been detected by a camera on site.
I'm guessing the NVR -EI you have either requires AcuPick processing to be done by the camera (supported camera), or it needs a firmware update to get the feature.
You must enable AcuPick mode on EI NVR's in NVR SmartPlan... And also AcuPick must be enabled on cameras (cam must support it)...
XI and EI2 don't have those requirement (AcuPick is always enabled, XI/EI2 can add AcuPick to a few non AcuPick cams)...
I'm not meaning the AcuPick search capabilities - I'm meaning the ability to see an image of a person, click on it, and then instantly see a snapshot of every other time that person has been detected by a camera on site.

XI & EI2 models have limited capability to add AcuPick processing to a few non AcuPick cams.. But not EI (it's 2022 model with not so strong SOC / AI processor)..
does anyone have a comparison to how Andy's NVR16CH-AI NVR model equivalent is on the Luminys side? I'm guessing R52-16PA but can anyone confirm? thanks

it's not - decoding capabilities are half of 5xxx-EI (-AI models in Andy shop)..
And 5xxx-EI is old model (2022), replaced by new 5xxx-EI2 (AI-S2 in Andy shop, 2x more AI limits, bigger decoding capabilities, some extra AI functionality)..
ps. I'm not 100% sure, but as I understand Luminys vs Dahua situation, Luminys NVR will not support Dahua cams as NATIVE cam (with all capabilities)... They use own private protocol implementation. Only ONVIF without any functionality.
