Hi all,
I bought the following Dahua equipment a few years ago but haven’t really kept up with the CCTV/intercom scene since then:
With the VTO2202F-P, my main issue was always the field of view. It didn’t really capture someone standing right up against the door/wall, so there was a blind spot directly in front/alongside the entrance. Apart from that, I was reasonably happy with it.
I also have the VTH1660CH, although I was never particularly impressed with the image quality of the indoor monitor.
I’m wondering:

- Dahua VTO2202F-P door station
- Dahua VTH1660CH indoor monitor

I’m wondering:
- Has Dahua improved significantly in this area over the last few years?
- Are there better alternatives to Dahua now for a video doorbell/intercom system?
- If staying with Dahua, what would be the current equivalent/better models to look at?
- Ideally I’d like something with a much wider/better field of view, particularly close to the door, while still having good image quality.
- Is it worth moving to something like Hikvision, UniFi, or another manufacturer?
