Dahua DHI-NVR2104HS-P-12 Black screen after firmware update

Hi,

I updated the firmware on my Dahua DHI-NVR2104HS-P-12 and now it has a black screen.

It shows the boot up logo etc, and then just goes to a black screen. What can I do to fix it?

Sounds like maybe the resolution the HDMI is putting out is higher than the monitor.

Log into the NVR via a web browser and change the resolution to a lower resolution until it shows up on the monitor.

OK thanks I will try that.

Another problem I had is the camera all went status red with it saying pending.

I deleted them all, and then they couldn't be found. Any suggestions on what may be going on?

Reboot.

Did you change the password on the NVR? Or cameras?

No I didnt change it. I tried rebooting etc.

Were you using the web interface or connected to the NVR with a monitor and mouse?

What exact FW did you use (Dont upgrade FW )

Got it all sorted out. Did a uboot reflash. And the router was setup with the same IP range as the POE switch. So all working now.
