dahua dh-nvr4216-4ks2 playback won't play

dahua dh-nvr4216-4ks2 playback shows a red lock on bottom left and won't playback. System is recording ok. Any help to fix this will be highly appreciated.

That looks like a old monitor, try playing pack the sub stream (if you have it) , you may need a higher resolution monitor to view it. What resolution are you recording in ? Optimum resolution on that monitor is 1920 * 1080 fyi

Appears you a logged in as a user, that doesn't have playback rights.
Login as admin to see if that fixes it.
The admin can change permissions.

It is a high resolution monitor .. 4 months old
