CPU usage now at 100% all the time

Has something changed in the last day or so? My system has gone from around 30% CPU usage to 100% CPU usage, I haven't changed a thing on my end in months.

Any ideas why this could be happening? I only have 6 cameras, I run sub-streams, direct to disk recording. If I only run 3 cameras, it's still running at 80%+ CPU usage.

Update: I was running 5.3.3.4. Reverted to 5.3.2.11 and the issue went away.

So, something must be wrong with the current version, so turning off updates in the meantime. Guess I answered my own question, so I'll instead ask is this a common issue, or something unique to me?

I just installed 5.3.3.4 4 minutes ago. CPU usage is looking normal.

I suggest you leave automatic updates off. Blue Iris often releases buggy updates (even the so-called "stable" releases can have problems) and the last thing you want is for them to appear by surprise like this.

I also updated to 5.3.3.4 and have no such issues either.

CPU usage is still normal for me. (48 minutes later)

I grabbed 5.3.3.4 as soon as it hit. No issues with CPU here.

Ditto, installed 5.3.3.4 as soon as it was released yesterday, normal CPU usage for me.
