Thought I was about to have my first dashcam video to submit to one of those car crash video aggregators. Oh well, better luck next time.

What amazes me is why the driver in front of you didn't slow down much sooner when he could see a car sitting perpendicular in the roadway headed toward his lane......instead he had to slam on the brakes and slide the tires, we can see the car skidding and the tire smoke!

People are obviously absorbed in something other than watching what's ahead when driving. :screwy:

I think it was a combination of things. The knucklehead doing a 3-point turn right in the middle of a major road and not far from an intersection (which apparently he missed a right turn onto) is a typical selfish asshole who just can't to to the next road and turn around. The dude literally does the 3-point turn 10 feet from two entrances he could have turned into to get back on track. Pretty typical to see these shit for brains who need to turn left from the right hand lane of a multilane intersection. They are too selfish to just go to the next road and turn around there. Now the numbnuts who just kept driving until he was right near knucklehead number one most likely thought the guy would not simply pull out in front of him. Not very good defensive driving skills but I put 99% of the dumbshitness on the original knucklehead.

This video, taken the same day a few hours later only about 600 feet from the location of the knuckle head above. For a minute I thought it might be the same guy but it wasn't.
