I believe the male cat belongs to a neighbor. I'm not sure about the female cat, but I did see it last year being followed by some kittens.

It appears at least 1 opossum has figured this out. It does not have a tail.I see why human evolution wants to get rid of the tail now, it looks kind of problematic.
