They are all going to be on the Starlink 192.168.1.1 network

I tried searching but I was overwhelmed, any help appreciated.

It does have repeaters on it though, large network

Thanks

I suspect that it will not work as BI is expecting the camera to stream continuously and I suspect that most solar cameras will not do that due to the limited amount of power from the solar array, I could be wrong as I have never tried it, since I do not have any solar powered cameras!

Above is correct - BI will be looking for a continous stream, so you will get lots of errors and could potentially crash the system.

I guess I need to use wired camera's for where I need recording. I don't use cloud anything.

It's pretty cool just to be able to see what's on the camera with the phone or ipad.

thanks

A limited number of wireless cameras will work, but they need to be powered from a source that can run them 24/7. I have two systems with a few D-Link Tapo cameras that have power bricks (not Solar) and they work fine. Wireless cameras tend to saturate the wireless network when there is more than a few of them, if you have multiple wired access points with separate SID's it is better, just be aware that they need to be spaced out in the wireless spectrum so there is minimal radio interference. Also routing the cameras through a typical home router may cause you grief, need to be using a separate good quality switch that is connected directly to the BI PC.

TP-Link, I was getting my D-Link switches mixed up with my TP-Link cameras, must be getting old and feeble!
I was married to a Latina from Honduras for 31 years....I still get tacos mixed up with my Tapos....:screwy::lmao:

I bought a tapo wired security camera with floodlights, have to see about trying that.

I run the signal via a pair of CPE510 to make a virtual cable then I could set up a router at the end with static IP and maybe BI can find it, if I have the IP.

I want camera's 1000yards away from the house on upper property.

New to Starlink, had a setup running on Frontier for a long time.

Thanks everyone
