Hi, same issue here with an X6-WEQ (XM530V200_X6-WEQ_8M) PTZ camera — after a firmware update, the auto motion-tracking (camera used to pan/tilt to follow movement automatically) stopped working completely. Everything else (video, manual PTZ, ONVIF) still works fine.
Current firmware on my unit:
- DeviceModel: X6-WEQ
- HardWare: XM530V200_X6-WEQ_8M
- HardWareVersion: 1.01
- SoftWareVersion: V5.00.R02.000807D8.10010.346624.0000010
- BuildTime: 2024-06-14 09:08:34
I saw an earlier comment on this thread (from user DG, Feb 2025) reporting the exact same issue, mentioning the original working firmware was V5.00.R02.000807DD.10010.346732.0000010.
I've confirmed this is a fairly locked-down build — both the classic port 9530 "OpenTelnet" backdoor and the CVE-2022-45045 OPSystemUpgrade command-injection are patched/non-functional on this firmware, so I can't pull my own flash dump to share as a reference either.
If anyone has a backup/dump of the pre-mid-2024 firmware for this exact hardware string, I'd really appreciate a copy. Happy to help test/compare, or provide any other diagnostic info from my unit that might help.
Thanks in advance.
