Hello I am new to the forum from Australia.
I admit I signed up to get the discount on Blue Iris so dont hate me.
I have been reading through a few threads here and understand the recommendation to prevent IP cameras from accessing the internet.
I purchased some relatively cheap 1080p ip cameras from a drop shipper here in Australia that came from China. I have set them up and they all seem to be maintaining a connection to a Singapore data centre :
Could there be a legitimate reason for this?
I have the equipment to segregate the cameras but have not yet. Is it urgent?
