P pozzello Known around here Oct 7, 2015 2,270 1,120 Mar 11, 2020 #8 I've got a couple of 'birdhouse' cams in the tree out front of our house: birdhouse cam i went with small cam modules with 16mm CS lens like so: US $21.24 15% OFF|Long distance View H.265 Hi3516E POE IP Camera CS 16mm lens IPC DIY CCTV POE IP Camera module Board PCB 1080P ONVIF H264 XMEYE|Surveillance Cameras| | - AliExpress these are specifically to ID people walking up/down the sidewalk. I have AC power at the tree, but no ethernet, and i didn't want to use wi-fi, thus the larger birdhouse has a PLA adapter and 5-port poe switch in it in addition to the cam, so I can connect up to 3 more cams to it via slim PoE.
