I need to be able to move the camera to point upwards but it's hitting the front fascia.
These are the options I'm thinking without making too many changes/holes/etc.
1) Mount the base of camera with two screws instead of four in the red rectangle, let the pig tail run underneath back into soffit.
2) Cut the rectangle out so camera has room to point upwards. would have to do this cleanly to make room - wife doesn't really want to make cuts but maybe its cleanest option.
3) install camera above red rectangle but would require cutting hole into fascia and then route cable into soffit - don't want to do this as the pig tail is large, if it was just a single ethernet cable i would have done it. Also don't want to do junction box on that section either as it will really make this camera standout further pointing straight.
4) where it is in the soffit find something that would lower the camera, i think that may work just not sure how it would look and it seems may need to find a 3d printed component.
Wanted thoughts or suggestions. By the way I did try remove the top sun shade cover of camera to see if it made a difference in giving some more room, it did not.
Thanks
