I recently upgraded to Blue Iris Software version 6, and I’m running into an issue activating the license.
After purchasing the upgrade, I did not receive a traditional license key. Instead, the instructions say to activate using a link provided. However:
At this point, I’m stuck and can’t get the software to recognize the upgrade.
Has anyone run into this before?
Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

After purchasing the upgrade, I did not receive a traditional license key. Instead, the instructions say to activate using a link provided. However:
- When I click the activation link, it just opens the Blue Iris UI interface (nothing happens—no activation prompt).
- It also mentions that if the link doesn’t work, I can copy and paste it into the activation box inside Blue Iris.
- When I try that, I’m still not able to complete activation.
At this point, I’m stuck and can’t get the software to recognize the upgrade.
Has anyone run into this before?
- Is there supposed to be a license key sent separately?
- Am I missing a step in the activation process?
- Is there a specific way the link needs to be used inside Blue Iris?
Any help or guidance would be appreciated.
