Well reverting to 6.0.1.09 worked, I had to also deleted the corrupted "Alert" key for that camera. I then I went into the camera to the AI tab and saved the config; the AI and Alert key was the recreated correctly for me, fortunately I had no alerts configured for that camera so nothing was lost and the AI setting was still off!

Wow, it seems that a few of you wanted to try out 6.0.1.10 anyway despite my warning. Ken has confirmed my bug report and is planning to release a fix later this evening or tomorrow. He didn't say if it would retain the same version number or be bumped up to 6.0.1.11

While I do appreciate everyone finding and reporting the bugs so they can be fixed. I too am just sitting back on v5 with my popcorn

6.0.0.1 is stable and working fine. Anything past that is a gamble.

LPR still fails on 6.0.1.12: AI inspector shows license plate detected (98%) but still in green state.
6.0.1.9 is removed from available update list. Get stuck with 6.0.1.12 for now without LPR.

I'l stay with 6.0.1.12 until the bug fix. Switch to platerecognizer for LPR using car capture from BI native AI.

The last stable version is still 6.0.0.1 as shown in the BI console updater as of 1/6/2026 at 10:04am CST.

I'm not sure why Ken is listing this as the last stable version because there was a JSON format issue. This wasn't fixed until version 6.0.1.4.

The 6.0.1.9 I mentioned as stable is based off of my own testing. I've been running 6.0.1.13 all day and haven't found any issues yet.

I guess I haven’t run into the json issue as I’ve been running that 6.0.0.1 since 12/10 with no issue. But I’m glad you said this as if I have an issue I’ll upgrade to the one you mentioned.
