so twice in a row now, BI has exited the program by itself
looks like both times at 2am
is there something i may have pressed in the settings by accident that is causing this ?

Did it actually exit or is that when it stops recording to do compact/repair?

If it exited then maybe the DB is corrupt.

unfortuantely i just noticed my log was not saved, it jus shows current day
first log of the day is

Restarted after unexpected shutdown (5.9.9.52/1500/240)
so the program was turned off

Blue Iris is unfortunately prone to crashing. You should go to Blue Iris Settings > Startup and have Blue Iris run as a Windows service. This will make it automatically restart when it crashes so you don't lose much time.

it asks for
local windows admin login (blank for localsystem)
user:
password:
i tried everything it wont work

That means the program crashed. It did not 'turn itself off'.

Use event viewer to see what the error was.

just above restarted

it states

intel video hardware detected
graphics hardware vendorID 1002
and then it logs in

Will it work if you leave both the user name and password blank?

So when I press it
It has a default user name (not sure from where because I don’t have anything named that)

I tried leaving user name and password blank
No go
I tried default user name and password blank
No go
I tried the BI user name pass
No go
