Blue Iris startup

I can't seem to get it to start on a reboot. I added a line in startup, doesn't start it. I check run as service, it says running but again doesn't start the software. What is missing ?

use the run as a service option, or because of the permissions it needed, to need to start it up through the task scheduler.

nope, no easy ones to get the console open. although if you just tick off the service box in BI it doesn't get much easier than that, its what most of us do.

One more question, can I get it to start minimized so it needs a password to open ( password is setup already ) just need it to minimize on startup ?

in blueiris there is an option to do a quite/minimized startup, try that, dont know if it works with teh task scheduler. there is an option in the task scheduler to startup minimized. play with the two options and see what works.

tried changing the program icon first and that didn't work but when I added the program itself it worked, thanks

Could use Blue Iris Tools, there's an option to launch BI at startup - http://www.ipcamtalk.com/showthread.php?t=198
