Blue Iris 6.0.1 - Android App getting "Unable to connect...xx.. Reason: connection limit, try again later."

Hello,

I upgraded to BI 6.x last month and this week I started getting weird behavior from my Android app. It appears that the Android app is flooding the BI server with connections, see attached. This is all from a single Android app trying to connect. Network connectivity is solid. The web site 8081 works properly, as does the console, and this appears to only be happening with the Android app. I've tried lots of different web server encoding settings, even reinstall BI server, with no avail. Mind you, this started happening this week out of the blue.. it was working fine for maybe 3-4 weeks after the upgrade to BI 6.x, until this week. This never happened with BI 5.x, so this is very strange.

Any ideas here? I have the web server set to 99 max connections, but the issue is the app just keep spinning up new connections. It seems like the app is being flakey and trying repeatedly to create a new connection instead of completing a single connection. I've tried this on multiple Android devices, with same symptom.

Thanks,

Do you have BI set to automatically do updates by any chance?
Hello! No, I don't have automatic updates enabled. But I did apply the latest update (6.0.0.1), tested, then tried the beta update (6.0.1.16), but the results are the same. The problem circles around the Android client.

I tested the iOS client today, and the problem doesn't exist there, so this problem is exclusively for the Android client (which I've tested/verified across multiple Android devices).)

Thanks,
Mark
