Block part of camera

Are there any software options to block certain parts of the view of the camera (not just for recording)? At my mother's house the camera view is wider than her garden is. Therefore the camera is viewing at, and also recording the garden's of the neighbors.

Most IP cameras have this masking capability as a built-in facility.

You might also consider rotating the camera 90 degrees (there is an option in the web interface to rotate the picture to match) which will make the view very tall and less wide.
