BI Version 7.9.9.98 stuck exporting a 0 byte MP4 and in a crash loop

I tried to export a section of a BVR file that I out on the BI clip[board, now my system is stuck in a loop exporting a 0 byte file and constantly crashing and restarting

Here is the windows application event error, this is repeating about every 14 seconds as long as the service or the console is running

How do I clear the export job so that it does not keep reprocessing it and crashing, am I looking at a remove and reinstall of BI?
 
The same thing happened to me on 5.9.9.98.

I was able to cancel the export by quickly navigating to the export queue immediately after a relaunch, but before the next crash.

I emailed support about the export crash problem and they replied:

“We have seen some reports of export errors on .98. Please move to .99.”

After updating to .99 it was working fine again.

Thanks, updated to most recent version of 5.9.9.99 and export is now working, not sure I like being on the bleeding edge, but it is better than not working!
