Just purchase an extended license key via the BI v6 setting>Upgrade/renew button. Received purchase email but license key not being accepted when entered. I get error that BlueIrisSoftware.com DB is currently unreachable. Is this true? Do I need to deactivate the V5 Registration license key first?

Is it blueiris.com or blueirissoftware.com? I sent my issue to blueirissoftware.com yesterday morning.

You need to properly send a support email, by using the instructions in the BI help. If you don't, they most likely will never see your email.
They replied yesterday. Gave me another key but didn't help. It was good for a minute. I'm waiting for another fix. I still think I need to deactivate the original V5 key but dont want to lose everything completely if that fails.

Yes it my understanding that you can not use the same key on two systems at the same time, one of them will get deactivated. If you are that concerned you could just purchase a new license key and then both could operate at the same time, just a matter of if you are prepared to spend the extra $$.
