BI PC crashed, please assist and share!

Friends,

2 or so nights ago, my BI5 PC HDD failed and I'm left without surveillance. My PC was simply an old Dell Optiplex 9020 i7 Gen 4, running about 8 odd cameras with 1 LPR, 2 Vifocals(?), 4 odd regular Lorex/Dahua.

I did something stupid and didn't have the awareness and save BI configuration files on a cloud somewhere and now the HDD with the OS and BI install is toast.

When I first set my BI up, I was very blessed. My mentor and very respected community member in @wittaj helped me set up with cameras, tuned them for lighting, set up motion detection settings, had a night and day profile, and even dialed in the sunrise and sunset Dahua scheduler. Even helped us set up my our LPR (placement and tuning). He's an asset as we know.

Unfortunately, it seems like I cannot get the support from him anymore and I'm quite panicking.


My basic question is: If anyone has seen this scenario where their BI PC crashed, could you please share your lessons learned and best practices on how to begin my recovery journey?

I don't even know if I have to buy BI again as my support period ended, so if I need the app installed again without the trial, do I have to buy it again? If not, what are my options? I emailed Ken and BI Support as well.
