BI IR toggle button (Lightbulb) question

My question is if I toggle the button highlighted in picture BI looses the ability to control it again. This is on my EmpireTech IPC-HDW5231R-ZE IP Camera 2MP Starlight WDR IR Eyeball Starlight Network IP Camera English Version. What setting am I missing to correct this . It also happens to my other cameras

Did you try long-pressing the icon?

No did not even know about that. It tried it comes up with an A on it.

The "A" is for "Automatic" (camera controls itself based on how it's configured).

One more thing to keep in mind regarding the IR button's behavior ...

Blue iris ir on/off actually toggles day/night not ir.
