Best 4K Dahua for jewellery store?

We want the best possible Dahua 4K camera to monitor a jewellery store. Turret style. Store is well lit and the cameras are only for when the store is open so we don’t need any low light performance. What is the latest/best version? We would like audio.

Hdw5831r-ze? Or is there something better? Thanks.

Silly question, what are your plans when the store is closed should something happen in the middle of the night in what may be a dimly lit area?

Most cameras are fine indoors even if they aren't especially great in low light. Unless it is an enormous space, distances are relatively short and you usually have walls, ceiling, and floor bouncing IR around.

IMO the 5831 is a good choice if you’re looking for a varifocal model.

Thomas. At night, the showcases get emptied and product is put in safe. But, showroom lights are also left on. No need for low light cameras

The installer is recommending N84CG52. Is my selection of 5831 a bit better or a lot better?
 
The 5831 is a VF the other US model is a fixed 2.8.
Other than that the N84CG52 spec shows to be a wee bit better in low light, which you dont need.

I'd go with the 5831
 
i like a variable focus on the IPC-HDW5831R-ZE. You can set it to the focus you want. Both cameras have the same size sensor 1/2.5. both seem to have the same frame rate and frame size

How many are you going to install? What is the size of the store ? A floor pan would be nice
