Having dug deep (and still am) into family history and genealogy, I had family that were regularly ambushed and killed by Indians in upper Central WVa in the Hackers Creek area.
My one 5th GG Jacob Wolf (on my Grandmothers branch) was one of a couple of dozen of the original pioneers to the area. I've visited the site and his grave a couple of times.
