Are there any Dahua rebranded cameras that would work with Dahua NVR over Private Protocol?

I'm in US.
I've been buying few cameras from Amazon, most recently, this IPC-D3E43WD-S, which IPC was historically Dahua naming convention, but this one turned out to be clearly a HikVision clone.
While I'm sure the camera will work over OnVif protocol, I'll most likely not be able to use the motion detection and few other camera based analytics.

With mostly populated 128ch NVR, I'm not keen on just dumping the NVR for another, current brand/model, but if there was something that just worked with everything that a homeowner like myself could justify, I would be open to upgrading the NVR.

You probably don't need to replace the NVR. The usual pick here is Empiretech (Andy's store), which sells Dahua-made cameras running Dahua firmware, so they add to a Dahua NVR over the Private protocol and the NVR can use the camera's IVS and human/vehicle detection on models that have it. Amcrest is mostly Dahua OEM too and normally adds the same way, though the firmware is Amcrest branded and updates come from Amcrest rather than Dahua. Lorex used to be largely Dahua as well, but their newer lines are mixed, so I'd check the specific model.

As you found out, the model name on Amazon isn't a reliable clue. A better check before buying is a screenshot of the camera's web interface in the listing or the reviews, since Dahua firmware has a pretty recognizable layout. Once it's on your network, a Dahua based camera will also show up in the NVR's device search with the Private protocol.

For the Hik clone you already have, it may be worth checking whether your NVR's firmware lets you use the camera's ONVIF motion event as the alarm source for that channel. Some Dahua NVR firmware supports that, even though the camera's smart analytics won't come through.
