My alerts have been coming through on P2P but some of my financial sites have been down more than up

WHich makes sense as the P2P thing is done via IP's. I read an article saying the AWS boys reported it as a DNS issue. In which case direct IP's wouldnt be effected but domains would

Since my beer fridge does not rely on AWS cloud services, I think I will survive.

Nor do I rely on cloud services for my home security system, cameras, HDHomeRun+OTA TV antenna, FM/WX radio, and lead projectiles.

Trust me, we don't need any more Jeff Bezos - too many Mom and Pop stores and Brick & Mortar and Small businesses shuttering while Amazon seizes most of the traffic and profits
