Me again. I've been doing some digging and found the Annke NC800. It's 4k (8.29 MP) and has an 1/1.2″ STARVIS CMOS sensor and 2.8" focal length.

Now, the Empiretech IPC-T54IR-ZE-S3 seems solid and the biggest difference, aside from resolution, is the 2.7mm-12mm vari-focal lense.

According to the helpful graph below, the NC800 seems good in terms of sensor size to resolution. I do like the idea of capturing higher definition during day time but the vari-focal lense in the empiretech would allow for much greater customization.
