An Unfair Comparison between Extremely Old Hikvision cameras and New Ubiquiti Cameras

I thought about putting this thread in the dedicated Ubiquiti section of the forum but I noticed very little traffic; thus putting this thread here.

The UniFi Protect Upgrade I Should Have Done Years Ago (Full Install) | BEWARE, THIS YOUTUBER IS A UBIQUITI INSTALLER AND REVIEWER FOR UBIQUITI PRODUCTS - HE LIKELY GOT THESE CAMERAS AT SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED COST AND IS HIDING A LOT OF DETAILS AS FAR AS CAMERA TECHNOLOGY WORKS​

We should write to this YouTuber and ask him to do some real motion testing at night to see if there is any noticeable blur / artifacts / out-of-focus anomalies- these reviewers never reveal such info either because they lack the necessary understanding and knowledge or just are intentionally ignoring this to promote sales

Nah, he's a wannabe. He actually lost subscribers over the years, he has barely picked up new subscribers in the past 2 years. I actually unsubscribed from him earlier this year - he hides out the real facts and never goes deep into Ubiquiti products apart from a sprinkle of How-to's here and there.

He goes on trash-taking about Dahua and Hikvision cameras when clearly he has been using cameras which are 10 years old - a lot has changed since then with the exception being the latest crapshoot from Dahua

But, even the latest crapshoot from Dahua is much better then any of the new Ubiquiti cameras.
