Amcrest API smart home cameras

I have a Amcrest NVR setup as well as blueiris. There were a few annoying things when working with the smart home cameras
1. The NVR would show them all as channel 1

Name
2. I wanted the camera overlay to show the camera name
Fix

http://ip/cgi-bin/configManager.cgi?action=setConfig&VideoWidget[0].ChannelTitle.EncodeBlend=true

This will pull back the config on the camera.

Sweetness in a bottle!

So I take advice from this forum and then ‘tune’ a particular camera. Then I have to take those changes and manually place them onto the next camera - which I can’t clone as it has many other attributes that I need to keep.

So I have wanted to write a simple little “camera settings compare” widget that would show me a column A, column B type of settings comparisons. These would just be for the items that keep getting mentioned such as ‘gain’, ’shutter’, ‘exposure’, etc. Not every setting.

To date, I had not researched the call that polls a camera for all its settings, but the last one you posted does the job.
Now I just have to reproduce this call for my Amcrest cameras!
