The "prime day deal" on the netgear switch is basically just its regular price. It would be more interesting if it was managed, had 2.5 Gbps support, or an SFP+ slot or two, or all of those things together. That is actually possible under $100 these days, just not usually with well known name brands.

I didn’t need one of these at $70 but it turned out that I did at $50! I got it yesterday and noticed “flexpoe” on the box. Just put a bigger power supply on it and get a higher poe budget. Is this hokus pokus? The upgraded power supply is way more than the switch. Would this apply to all poe switches?
