All cameras have dropped off BI

HI all, I have recently signed up to another ISP. We are now with a company that can provide us with a static IP adress. Hopefully now the remote access is a little easier to set up.

Anyway, the problem is I had everything running mint untill I changed modems. I plugged the Pc into the new modem and it could not pick up internet. I used the Microsoft fault diagnoses tool and it found that the DHCP was not enabled. I pressed the fix settings button and that seemed to have fixed the internet problem but dropped out all of my cameras. I now can’t access any cameras. I can’t even find them on the Dahua config tool. I’m sure it’s a simple thing that’s blocking the cameras coming through but I have clue. Any help would be much appreciated .
 
Could be that you are on a different subnet now with the new router. However I would think dahua config tool would still find the cameras regardless. Check all connections between your PC and the cameras and maybe power cycle everything.

Have checked all connections. It’s strange they have just completely vanished. The previous ISP was on a 4g network so I have tried to reconnect everything back to how it was and still nothing

Sorry have I missed something? The connections between the router and the switch are fine. As for the different subnet how do sort that out? I have powered everything off and on to. I was thinking I maybe need to assign all new IP addresses to the cameras to suit the new adress from the router. But because I can’t sign onto the cameras in Config tool I can’t change anything
 
So it sounds like the new router's dhcp server is assigning a different subnet range than you had before. Can you confirm this? If you don't know what we are talking about, that's OK, it will be simple to determine. What is the ip address of your PC now? And look in BI to see what the ip address of one of the cameras was and post it as well.

If your PC ip is 192.168.1.xxx but the cam is 192.168.254.xxx - they are on different subnets. The number in the third octet, in the example either "1" or "254". If they are on different subnets they cannot communicate.

Yup it looks like they are on different subnets

Blue iris’s third octet is different to my cameras. What do I do to change this?
 
Well if you have access to the dhcp server in the router, you could change the subnet it assigns to be the same as the cameras are now. Assume they are static. If you have other static devices, this might be preferable. Otherwise you can change the cameras by logging in to each one with a browser. You will need to temporarily change the ip of your pc to match the subnet of the cams so they can talk. Then you will want to change it back after you are done with the cams. Sounds like it is dynamic right now. We can dig a link up to help on the pc ip address change if needed.
