Is there a general good place to start with these settings? Here's what I have right now. Would love comments and suggestions. Thanks

It depends entirely on the application: are you doing ALPR? If so, the timings need to be spaced even tighter/closer together (by quite a bit), but for most general purpose/person/animal/slow moving vehicle (parking lot, driveway, etc.) I would suggest much slower timings, on the order of 750ms or 1 second apart depending on the view. I like to see these detections continue up to 18-20 seconds total (and I still like to "force" this by adding an "impossible" object in the To Cancel box). The reason behind this has to do with finding objects throughout all possible zones of travel. This is closely aligned with some brand new capabilities that BI just added, see my post here:
I would also lower the confidence level down to 50% as a starting point, but it also depends on the view and your preferences.

No ALPR, strickly slow moving vehicles, people and wildlife. Are you concerned about the 20 lag in alert notifications because of the "impossible" object in the cancel box? I really appreciate the reply.

Frankly no, 20 seconds doesn't bother me, and that delay is not even true in every case: sometimes BI will still override and declare an object confirmed before that. In addition, I run simultaneous ONVIF events direct from the cameras, with labels that correspond to regions or zones of high/low importance that may start an Alert (low), but not notify me until they cross into my property and generate a notification.
