I've just upgraded from V5 to 6. Now with AI, i decided to give it a shot but it seems I clearly have no understanding of how it works cause my alerts always trigger because my car is parked in my drivaway. Or worse, it litterally alerts me each time a vehicle travel on my street.
After reading lots of post and the help docs, I still can't get it to work properly.

My intentions where to have triggers according to AI validation. I'm using built in models, have applied "confirm with alerts" and "object tracking" and set zones.
Anyone have good ressources or links where I can get things working correctly. I'm about to simply go with simple motion dectection. That way, only the car night lights cause some issues sometimes.

Two things for starters.

Parked cars can be problematic for AI, especially at night as headlight shine tricks AI into thinking it is a car moving.

Triggering for cars on the street usually means you have set up trigger motion in those areas. Remove the street from the motion trigger zone.

Adding to wittaj's points, for the parked car specifically: in the camera's AI settings there's an option to ignore static objects (in BI5 it was "Static object analysis" / "Detect/ignore static objects", the wording may differ a bit in 6). With it on, the AI ignores a car that's still sitting in the same spot it saw before, so your own car stops confirming alerts every time something else moves.

For the street, besides taking it out of the motion zone, you can make the trigger require movement into the driveway with zone crossing. Draw zone B over the driveway, leave A covering the rest, and in the motion sensor settings enable "Object crosses zones" with A>B. Cars just driving past then never trigger at all.

It also helps to turn on "Save AI analysis details", so you can open a cancelled or confirmed alert and see what the AI actually detected and at what confidence. That makes it much easier to tell whether a bad alert is a zone problem or an AI problem.

Last thing, keep "To confirm" limited to the objects you actually care about (person, car), so other labels can't confirm an alert.
