4K-X 6mm uneven focus

Drive home after dark and say "Honey that just doesn't look right, I think we need more light on the fence to even this out" 
As I said I will make some adjustments over the next week or so to see if I can make improvements. Like mentioned, the area may likely be too devoid of light to get a fast enough shutter for identification purposes on THIS camera.
I have the PTZ5A4M-25X that I forgot about, that still needs to replace the Lorex PTZ installed above and behind the 4K-X in the same area. There will be 3 cameras watching the same area, so between the three, (one in color and 2 in B&W and IR), I would think I would be able to ascertain vehicle type, color and possibly identification. Only time will tell.
I need to focus on one item at a time and complete it before moving on. I still have a list of things to do: Initialize and install my Dahua NVR5216-16P-4KS2E and replace the one Lorex PTZ, and 5 other Lorex cameras as time permits. I actually have to work my day job to pay bills - how bout that?

Yes focus distance is key to select fixed lens camera, we got a bad review on amazon said 4K-x 6MM Not focus(Thought was bad lens), as we have some further with him, that is the user error, normally there is no blocking on nearby(within the focus distance) will make the pic great. I think install on a vertical wall normally won't be a problem, install on a fence will not focus well, too low.

Obviously, I have a lot to learn. There's just so many moving parts. Some can get real lucky with their choices and installation, some are experienced, some do the proper research, making wise decisions based on site and device variables, and some are impatient and just wing it and hope for the best. Guess which category I fit it?
And no excuses, but I guess I choose the latter because my business consumes a lot of my time, I'm getting older and getting more impatient. I think that last part is a medical condition that runs in my family. My pap in his later years had no patience whatsoever. Stupid people used to set him off in an instant
Yes, just need to know what the target you want to get, then can recommend something BASED on that.
Well, you've seen the target and as we can agree, the 6mm is not a good choice for this location. I would love to have a tighter field of view, but then we get further away from the camera and compound the low light issue present in this location.
Making adjustments, I'm beginning to think the 3.6mm 4K-X that I have there now isn't a good choice either, but I need something to capture the color of the vehicle. I'm hoping the other 2 cameras (B54IR-Z4E and PTZ5A4M-25X) in this area can capture finer details using IR once installed.
Does anyone have a good location for a 6mm 4K-X and want to make an offer? I'm hoping to get $100 out of it plus shipping costs.

Unfortunately, I can no longer drink any alcohol since my GI surgery in 2022. And I quit smoking 5 years ago, so that's another reason for impatience. I started chewing gum but even that kills you now with its microplastics. I need to find other ways to vent.

So here is the new FOV with the camera turned more to the right. We'll see if this helps tonight. The second photo is the original FOV for comparison
