I had been running BI on an older server class box (Dell T310 with raid 1) and was curious how it would run on an old Mac Mini running Win 7 on Bootcamp and to my surprise it’s running much better than I expected so I thought I'd share my experience.
CPU is in the 45%-65% range and memory utilization is around 3GB and the fan is making some noise (approx. 20-30%).
I have 9 cameras attached. 8 are running 1080P at 15fps and one is running 720P at 15fps. Two of the 1080P cameras are set to record continuously and the rest record upon motion only.
The Mac Mini is a Mid 2011 with a 2.3 GHz I5 CPU and 500GB SSD.
