    Every other Dahua or similar camera we have installed have not had an IR filter, we have emitters in our barn and they work well.

    That is the only camera in the area, no IR light. I have used IR emitters with other cameras lacking night vision and those work well in these situations.

    This particular camera is by itself at the bottom of our driveway, zero ambient lighting in the vicinity. It does work well when vehicle headlights enter the camera view, but it is only a momentary glimpse of lighting.

    Camera works great for daytime viewing, oddly enough it has zero night vision. I thought Starlight meant night vision but apparently not. I believe Starlight improves and supports low light conditions, but is not an actual LED supported night vision, just a guess though. I don't have any...

    I already have a Lorex NVR at another property and would prefer to use the Lorex App, if possible. Just comfortable with what I know, not opposed to using an OEM Dahua NVR if that ends up being the solution.

    Update After initializing through the ConfigTool using the switch, I removed it from the switch and plugged directly into port on NVR and now it works.....weird as I'm not what went wrong and why the NVR wouldn't initialize and complete on its own.     Just found the NVR manual online; it's NR900 series. There is nothing in the manual for adjusting dwell times at each preset location. Maybe this NVR doesn't support that function that I've seen on various How-to videos?? Any thoughts?
