    Most importantly, can we have a image comparison with H.264H @ 1433? I bet you that 1/10th the bitrate gives you 90% of the quality. If storage or bandwidth has a realistic cost assigned to it, I think you'll find that 1433 (roughly) is an optimal bitrate.

    Having the camera's brain decide when there is motion situation, and then having it action the local electrical output, would be the fastest way to get the alert. Then you'd have to wire that camera output wire to your electrical field device, which is cumbersome in your case.

    Are you trying to avoid logging into the webpage of each camera, as a user, and using the web page to configure more users and groups? (I don't know the answer to your question.) I looked briefly at the API doc and there's no way to add or delete groups.

    Best practice would be to disconnect the RJ45 male (network cable) from the RJ45 female (camera harness) using the tab on the male RJ45 connector. This is preferable to cutting the camera harness, at least where I'm from.
