Guessing most owners are either just living with these now or have moved them on. I still have one brand new in the box and two which are up and running, both of which will get replaced unless we have a miracle firmware fix in the next few months. They can be repurposed elsewhere I guess... -

Depending on the brightness and direction of those lights, I see this frequently on an old 49225 PTZ when car headlights drive towards it. Internal reflections (lens flare) causing the light to bounce around within the lens assembly, potentially. -

The big problem is they can vary depending on model (size), also some of the enterprise 7200's are actually very good, if in a vibration damped mounting. I sit next to (3 feet away) a 14TB WD enterprise drive in a PC which uses only Noctua fans, it registers 30-32db virtually next to the case... -

I concur 100% with this, at least two out of the three I purchased would have been returned, maybe all three - had they been local dealer supplied. Sadly none of the dealers in my country offer the 54Pro, S3 or 4K series, so options are limited. -

That is a fair comment, once I realised the entry point was basically resin? sealed I soon decided not to mess with that. I would rather solder repair the cable and ensure the weather sealing of the camera is left untouched. We have quite a bit of rain and wind here, temps don't go much above 35... -

This is a great summary on the sensors, makes me wonder what will be the fate of 4K and S3 series, are they still buying sensors for these or simply using up remaining stocks!?! Suspect the Ai bubble is much smaller than people think, there will be some air to come out of it but not so sure it... -

100% agreed, disgusting that they released a camera in this state frankly, at best it was in testing stages, most likely 1 year and another sensor away from release. -

The 4K series are certainly amazing cameras as well, not without flaws but I have been nothing but impressed with mine, they often get vehicle and people ID's which... -

I believe that is a good alternative, others with experience will know more. A lot can depend on distance to subject, I can only vouch for the 4K and 5442/S3 series which are both excellent when used in the correct location. Do you have any cameras already and which type? -
"I want 2.8mm cameras everywhere to see everything..." - This is why you need specific FOVs with purposeful focal lengths.
I wanted to say thank you to @Ri22o for this and the 'build' thread, fantastic setup from the switches/network hardware to the cameras.
